STEM Tutoring | Grades K–8
Footsteps to Excellence, Inc. launches with what our community needs most: high-quality, individualized, and small-group tutoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Every session is aligned with Florida state academic standards and built around hands-on, inquiry-based learning because every child in West Palm Beach deserves a tutor who believes in them and the tools to prove what they are capable of—serving families in ZIP codes 33401, 33407, and 33409.
After-School Care & Enrichment
A safe, structured, and enriching after-school program from dismissal until 6:00 PM — providing homework support, STEM enrichment activities, supervised recreation, and the consistent, caring environment that working families in Palm Beach County deserve.
A 2023 U.S. Department of Education report confirmed that nearly half of chronically absent students who participated in quality after-school programs improved their attendance. Florida's own statewide program evaluation confirmed improvements in student behavior, motivation to learn, homework completion, and academic performance. What qualifies your founder to lead this organization?
Our Founder and President/CEO, Lori Boles Jones, brings more than 30 years of Florida public education experience, including roles as a classroom teacher, mathematics coach, and assistant principal at Title I programs in West Palm Beach. Under her leadership, Pleasant City Elementary achieved a Florida State Academic Grade turnaround from F to A under Florida's A-through-F school accountability system — one of the most significant academic improvements in the program's history. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Bethune-Cookman University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
