Michael Boles is a former collegiate student-athlete, law enforcement professional, and mentor who brings more than two decades of leadership and community experience to the Board of Footsteps to Excellence, Inc.

Michael earned a full basketball scholarship to the University of Central Florida (UCF), graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies. He spent 22 years with the City of West Palm Beach Police Department, serving in five specialized units before retiring in September 2022. He now serves with the Palm Beach County School District Police Department, continuing his work in support of safe and positive environments for students.

As a Board Member, Michael contributes valuable expertise in youth safety, mentorship, community engagement, and relationship building. His experience as both a student-athlete and law enforcement professional provides a unique perspective on the importance of education, discipline, accountability, and positive decision-making.

Michael is passionate about helping young people recognize their potential, make positive choices, and pursue excellence. His experience and dedication support the mission of Footsteps to Excellence, Inc. to empower students, strengthen families, and positively impact the community.
